What is Samvahan?
Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in Samvahan.
What is Samvahan?
Samvahan is an ancient method of balancing the natural healing rhythms
of your body. It is a gentle massage-like treatment that physically amplifies
the internal vibrations that drive your health. It is soothing, musical,
and meditative. Most people find that it feels soothing, spiritual and
different than any treatment they have had before.
Trained practitioners offer clients treatments of 30 to 60 minutes, using
their hands, tuning forks, vibrational bowls, or other tools. The practitioner
tunes the clients body as if it were a musical instrument.
The nerves, muscles, organs, fluids, and mind come into balance creating
a state of perfect paradox: calm and invigorated, soft and strong, free
and grounded.
While it can be practiced in many ways, the type of Samvahan now sweeping
the healing community was developed to its current state by the legendary
Indian healer, Dr. Ram K. Bhosle. Dr. Bhosle was led to master Samvahan
by his teachers, Swami Nityananda of Ganeshpuri and Maha Avatar Babaji.
Where did Samvahan originate?
Samvahan was practiced for millennia in ancient India. Doctors
treated the maharajas and maharinis with gentle vibrations from their
hands. The first written reference claiming the value of Samvahan was
around 2,500 years ago by the Indian scholar and doctor, Charuk.
Like many of Indias great arts and sciences, Samvahan fell into
disuse after the Mogul invasions. The years of British rule and introduction
of modern medicine drove Samvahan further into the pages of history.
In the 1930s, a young Indian chiropractor with European education,
Dr. Ram Bhosle, was inspired to begin using vibrations from his hands
to heal his patients. Dr. Bhosle began reading the ancient texts about
vibrational healing, and eventually spent six years in the Himalayas studying
with yoga masters to perfect the method. His successes led him to become
the personal healer for Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru
and leaders from around the world. (For more info, click the »

How
could Samvahan help you?
Samvahan treatments can help relieve chronic tension, fatigue,
insomnia, digestive disorders, muscle pain and premenstrual tension. In
numerous cases Samvahan restores balance and strength to organs and nerves.
Many clients find that Samvahan treatments also soothe emotions and mental
stress.
The effect of the Samvahan treatment depends upon the experience of the
practitioner, and the nature of
your condition as a client. Each session is quite different, and the effects
of the treatments are cumulative over time. Change can often be seen in
one to three sessions, and more sessions can penetrate to the deepest
level and the deepest issues in the body.
